The story behind Leona

We lived the problem before we ever called it one.

Dina and Heba each lived the same broken system from different sides — Dina, watching her dogs Leo and Corona grow older with no real infrastructure behind their care; Heba, hit with a sudden emergency bill for her dog Charlie, with no safety net in sight.

Together, they spent months on the ground, earning trust clinic by clinic, shop by shop. When that network outgrew what two people could hold by hand, Mohamed Hegazi joined to build the technology layer — a Digital Pet ID, electronic health records, and smart notifications and reminders, connecting the entire ecosystem on one digital platform at the touch of a button.
